If you do not want the riven look of Indian sandstone but want a flatter, more smooth finish then limestone is a good choice. Indian limestone has a surface finish similar to orange peel. The black colour is stunning, consistent in colour and deep black when wet. The deep black colour when freshly quarried does eventually fade in natural sunlight to a charcoal grey, but will always return to jet black when wet. A sealer will help maintain this colour.

Please note: The circles in the photos may vary slightly from those you receive. These circles are made by hand and not machine and therefore are never exact. The overall dimensions will be those stated plus the manufacturer's tolerances.

  • Perfect match to our Indian limestone paving, complete your garden with finishing touches.
  • Includes a squaring-off kit to remove the need for cutting.
  • Create an eyecatching feature with this deep black paving circle.

With ranges extending from more traditional natural sandstone and limestone to the contemporary and stylish  porcelain paving.

Limestone is fine textured, so it takes on a distinctive, velvety finish when cut for paving. The surface is best described as an orange peel texture. Due to the impurities found in its sediment Limestone is available in a large variety of differing colours Dark grey, blue-grey, pale grey, cream, and tan colours are usually the easiest to find and limestone tends to be more evenly coloured than sandstone or granite. The very fine grain of Limestone makes it relatively easy to cut into all sorts of decorative shapes. As it is more dense than other natural stones it is much more resilient to the British weather and dries much quicker when wet.
