Travertine

Travertine is a form of limestone, with the key difference being in the formation of the rock, the hardness of the stone and the appearance. Travertine is deposited by mineral springs, such as hot springs and/or limestone caves. Key characteristics of Travertine stone are the holes within the stone which are caused by carbon dioxide evasion and the stone colours usually exist in white, tan, cream-coloured, and even rusty varieties.
