Pendle Paving Buff has a lightly riven texture suitable for any area which requires basic paving. This no-nonsense paving is NOT designed for decorative paving areas; it will suit wherever practical, flat hard-standing is essential at a budget cost. Pendle Paving can be laid on a mortar bed with joints of 8-10mm, pointed with mortar, units 450 x 450 or smaller can be laid on screeded sand with joints of 2-5mm filled with jointing sand. On no account should it be laid butt jointed. Being a ‘budget’ product, colours and face finishes will vary and there is limited protection when in transit, so the surface may bear scratch marks. As with all concrete products, Utility Paving may temporarily suffer from efflorescence early in its life.
