Pendle Paving has a lightly riven texture suitable for any area which requires basic paving. This is a no-nonsense paving which is NOT made for decorative designs but perfect for utility areas where budget and practicality are key. Marshalls have now made this range available in Charcoal, a brand new contemporary colour. Pendle Paving can be laid on a mortar bed with joints of 8-10mm, pointed with mortar, units 450 x 450 or smaller can be laid on screeded sand with joints of 2-5mm filled with jointing sand. On no account should it be laid butt jointed. Being a ‘budget’ product, colours and face finishes will vary and there is limited protection when in transit, so the surface may bear scratch marks. As with all concrete products, Utility Paving may temporarily suffer from efflorescence early in its life.
