Cobbles or 'setts' can offer an attractive and very durable surface for driveways and also complement areas of paving. They can be used to edge circles, patios, and flower beds and are very useful for awkward spaces when cutting paver stones can prove difficult and unattractive. Our natural hand-cut Indian sandstone setts are robust and durable and give a distinct authentic appearance to any project. An ideal application would be for courtyards, driveways, paths and patios when laid on an adequate sub-base and mortar bed.

Kandla or Grey sandstone contains natural iron which may oxidise and appear as brown marks. This may never occur if it does occur there are products that can help remove it or it can be left to fade itself and it may affect some flags more than others. The iron is normally found within grey sandstone from any supplier and is not classed as a fault.
