This natural stone-pitched / rock-faced walling has an appealingly rugged texture and a unique natural look. It is created by using the crust of the quarried stone which has been selected for its colours and texture. There are limitless possibilities of applications where this can be used and tactful lighting will create a truly stunning feature.

The pieces are either 65mm or 140mm thick

The face is pitched / rock-faced.  The back, left, right, top and bottom are sawn.  We do have a selection of all sizes that have one of the smaller sides that are rock-faced for the purpose of corners where this will be seen.  Click on the buy individually button to add these to your cart.

Sandstone

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock that is most often composed of quartz sand, although sometimes they can be formed of feldspar. Sandstone is one of the most popular stones for garden paving, this is due to its strength, durability and also the different types of finishes and natural colours that it has meaning that it can be adapted to suit any type or style of garden. 


You can get Sandstone paving with a variety of different surface finishes. One of the finishes you can get with sandstone is a riven finish, this finish gives the stone more of a textured, rustic look. This type of finish is the first finish you get from the natural stone once the stone is sheered apart. This process occurs when the stone is originally cut from the block and sheered apart and thus giving a riven finish along the vein of the rock.
